Setup, earning, and the September 2026 change
d払い is docomo’s QR payment. You need a d Account — available even to non-docomo customers — and a smartphone, and you link funding such as a credit card or bank. Base earning is about 0.5% d POINT; funding with an eligible d Card adds 0.5%, producing roughly 1% before store points. Importantly, other-card funding does not receive ordinary d払い points, so do not assume any linked card earns the wallet reward. It is accepted at Lawson, FamilyMart, and the same stores as d POINT. From September 1, 2026 the d Card funding bonus was scheduled to become limited-time/use points rather than ordinary points, so verify the current treatment before relying on it. It is best for d POINT and docomo users, ideally with a d Card linked.
