About MoneyInJapan
MoneyInJapan is a bilingual, source-backed library that helps residents and newcomers understand money in Japan — banking, credit, NISA and investing, tax, freelancing, insurance, mortgages, remittance, points, and crypto.
It is built as a single structured knowledge base rather than a stream of articles, so the same reviewed content powers guides, direct question-and-answer pages, a product directory, and a search assistant — in both English and Japanese.
The long-term goal is a comprehensive, trustworthy personal-finance library for the Japan context, structured so that an assistant can eventually draw on all of it to answer specific questions and suggest suitable products and services — always with citations, and always as education rather than personalized advice.
